Wilma Dawn Mains

Wilma Dawn Mains, 84, of Elizabeth Twp. passed peacefully on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 10, 1932 in Boston, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Ethel McClean Biddle. Wilma was a loving, devoted, and selfless mother and grandmother who was adored by her family. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School. She was a retired clerk at the G.C. Murphy Co., Olympia Shopping Center. Wilma was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Buena Vista Fire Hall. She is survived by her husband George E. Mains, daughter, Diane (Mick) DeStefano of Elizabeth Twp., sons, Mike Mains of South Park Twp., Jeff (Cindy) Mains of Munhall and Jason (fiancé Sharon) Mains of Elizabeth Twp., grandchildren, Danielle (Jason) Laux, Michelle (Bryan) Vallerie, Erin (Steve) Ross, Michael (fiancé Claire) DeStefano, Michael Mains, Alexis Ryan, Jonathan Mains, Justin Mains, Jacob Mains and Joshua Mains, great grandchildren, Aidan, Tyler, Colton and Brielle, nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her sister June Doty. Friends are welcome Friday May 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory 6028 Smithfield St. Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
