Robert J. Bishop

Robert J. Bishop, 48, of California, formerly of Port Vue, died Tuesday May 30, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born August 8, 1968 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Frederick R. and Rosemary Hays Bishop. Robert was the Manager of Build-A-Bear Workshop in South Hills Village . He is survived by his sisters, Linda (Joseph) Smola of Irwin, Lisa (Thomas) Will of North Versailles, and Lori (Gary) Katko of North Huntingdon, friend, Lyonel Weld of California, nieces, Stephanie  (Jim) Smola, Alyson (Matt) Smola, Elizabeth (Thomas) Will, nephews, Benjamin (Belinda) Katko, and Nicholas (fiancée, Katherine) Katko, great-niece, Emily Hanson and great-nephew, Henry Katko. Friends are welcome Friday June 2 from 3-8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director.
