Richard James Prailey, 82, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born March 21, 1940 in Boston and was the son of the late John and Rose (DiMatti) Prailey. He attended Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township, and was a member of the National Corvette Restorers Society. He was also a member and past president of the Versailles Lion's Club. Rich was the former proprietor of Prailey's Auto Body in Versailles which is now operated by his son Scott Prailey. He enjoyed his family and was very active in his business and loved mentoring future technicians. He was very competitive in tennis, loved tinkering with and showing his classic cars, and wintering in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Carmella (Augustine) Prailey, son, Scott J. (Peggy Carpenter) Prailey of Jefferson Hills, daughter, Roxanne L. (Collin) Kelly of VA, sister, Joan Prailey of White Oak, and 4 nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Ventura. There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Jochim and Ann Parish, St. Michael Church on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 9:30 am. Inurnment will follow in the Garden Columbarium at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
