Richard D. Odoski, Jr.

Richard David Odoski, Jr., 38, of North Versailles, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born September 14, 1978 and was the son of the late Richard David, Sr. and Sandra Lee Fleming Odoski of North Versailles. He was the husband of Brandy Lee Coup Odoski. Richard was a boilermaker for Local 154 and a member of the E.A.A.A. Richard was a family man who loved his children. He enjoyed playing baseball and riding quads with his kids. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by daughters, Chassiti Ariella Baka of North Versailles, Jordan Nicole Odoski of East McKeesport, sons, Derek John and Chance Michael Odoski at home, sisters, Kathleen (Glenn Walters) Gladis of Transfer, Christine Lynn Masley of Rossville, GA., niece Alexa Gladis, and nephews, Zachary Gladis, John, Joshua, and Jeremy Masley. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Stella Odoski, maternal grandparents, Clifford and Mary Fleming, as well as many aunts and uncles. Friends are welcome on Friday, April 21, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. A Blessing Service will be held at the Chapel of Gilbert Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 am with Rev.Vincent P. Velas, officiating. Interment will follow at the Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, Inc., North Huntingdon. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund set up for Derek and Chance at S&T Bank.
