Norma Jean Hetherington

Norma Jean Hetherington, 90, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was born January 31, 1935 in Wilkinsburg and was the daughter of the late William Cook and Laura Belle (Daley) McEwen. She was the wife of the late William E. "Bill" Hetherington, who passed away May 7, 2010. Jean worked as a school bus driver for many years for Pennsylvania Coach lines. Before returning home to McKeesport, Jean and her husband Bill spent many years living in the Rehobath Beach area of Delaware. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, William James "Jim" (Mary Beth) Pardoe, Gregory A. (the late Johanna) Pardoe, and Gerald L. "Jerry" Pardoe; daughters, Sandra J. "Sandy" Haughey and Diana Lynn Pardoe; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, who she absolutely adored. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Pardoe, who passed away in 2005 and her grandson, Ron Daniel Gallagher.
