Mary Margaret Malandra

Mary Margaret Malandra, 80, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was born August 11, 1939 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late James F. and Elenore D. "Laura" (Szygenda) McKay. She was a member of St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township and was a retired School Nurse at the Elizabeth Forward High School. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1957, McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing in 1960, California University of PA in 1976 , and Penn State University in 1992. She is survived by her husband, Louis J. Malandra, sons, James Malandra of Tulsa, OK, Anthony (Christy) Malandra of Orlando, FL, Michael (Margaux) Malandra of Gibsonia, and Louis (Alex) Malandra of McKeesport, grandchildren, Joseph, Kelly, Mary Elizabeth, Makayla, Caroline Rose, Michael, Patrick, and Matthew, brother, James F. McKay of Los Angeles, CA, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Shigo.
