Mark Megela

Mark Andrew Megela, 67, of Pfafftown NC, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday February 22, 2025. He was born on October 28, 1957 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Andrew “Ham” Megela and Julia (Ruschak) Megela. Mark is survived by his dear wife of 45 years Robin (Sholtis)Megela, and three children: daughter Amanda (Matt) Maultsby and granddaughter Scarlett of Asheville NC, son Mitchell Megela of Wrightsville Beach NC, and son Curtis (Lauren Amstutz) Megela of Wilmington NC, as well as his two sisters Andrea (Jim) Simmons and Debbie (Gary) Thomas and many special nieces and nephews. While his passing leaves an unfillable void, his life was a testament to love, laughter, and the power of family, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private celebration of life will be hosted by his family at a later date.
