Mark Anthony Golya, 63, of Dravosburg, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Lincoln Borough on June 28,1961 to the late John and Betty Jean (Beers) Golya. Mark worked every aspect of Construction, from roofing to Union 1058 road Crew laying asphalt. Mark was a handy man in more ways than one, knowing a little bit of everything from electrical work to working on vehicles/bikes. Mark was a very smart man but the smartest thing he ever did was make a family with the love of his life Carla Gene Harper, who also passed away after a brief illness last year. Mark enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, and most of all riding his Harley Davidson. Family meant everything to Mark, to whom he would do anything for. Underneath that boisterous and brazen exterior he had a heart of gold and would give to anyone in need. He was a special man, husband, father, pappy, uncle, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughters Stephanie'e (Zachary Williams) Golya, Tina (Jason Anderson) Harper; his grandchildren, Savia, Rylee, Khyzer, Ahrenzo, and Carlee to which he adored; his closest brother William (Bill) Golya and Robert Golya. There will be a Celebration of Life held in the upcoming weeks for friends and family to attend. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director.
