Louise Ann "LuAnn" Cochenour

Louise Ann "LuAnn" Cochenour, 63, of Elizabeth Township, passed away suddenly on Friday May 5, 2017. She was born September 22, 1953 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Phillip Barth of Greenbackville, VA, and Elinor Gala Morris formerly of Jefferson Hills. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 43 years, Carl F. Cochenour, daughters, Julianne (Kevin) Slogick of Crafton and Lauren (Joe) Cochenour of Cincinnati, OH, sister, Elaine (Michael) Prodan of Flushing, OH, her  grandchildren whom she adored, John and Brooks Slogick, and many nieces and nephews. LuAnn was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church.  She had a varied career in nursing,  most recently serving as Director of Nursing Administration at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh. She enjoyed craft shows, sales, good food, cooking and her church family. However, what she will be most remembered for is her endless generosity and total devotion to her family.
