Lorraine C. Mossburg

Lorraine C. Mossburg, 86, of Forward Township, passed away at home on Saturday, June  22, 2019. She was born July 5, 1932 in Glassport and was the daughter of the late Francis Theodore and Helma Virginia (Smitley) Gouker. She was the wife of the late Donald A. Behanna and the late Earl T. "Jack" Mossburg. Lorraine began her career as a waitress at the Blueflame Restaurant in Jefferson before opening the T & L Restaurant in Elizabeth. She later purchased the Homa Gas Station in Elizabeth and converted it into Mossburg's Restaurant. Her last business venture was Lorraine's Restaurant in Charleroi. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn L. Semion of Monongahela, and Lorie L. Hanbury Peers of Daisytown, son, James C. (Edie) Behanna of TX, step-daughter, Shirlene Mossburg of VA, son-in-law, Thomas Kadar of Elizabeth, sisters, Grace (John) Williams of Finleyville, Beverly (Tom) Stokes of Clairton, and Eileen (Donald) Pennell of Elizabeth, brothers, Harold (Beverly) Gouker of Elizabeth, and Kenneth (Marie) Gouker of Clairton, grandchildren, Tabatha (Jeffrey) Hoak, Bobbi Jo (the late John Benedek) Lawson, Shannon Hanbury DeWitt, Wayne Hanbury, Joe Semion (Coleen) Waldron, Troy Behanna, and Janene Grimes, great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alysa and Randy Hoak, Eric Lawson, Jr, Courtney Lawson, Jace Benedek, Emma Verbanec, Maggie and Brianna Hanbury, and Dillon and Sharon Land, many nieces and nephews and her dogs, Little Joe and Buffy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna L. Kadar, sisters, Beatrice Gouker (David) Little, and Dolores (Don) Grey, brothers, Francis (Nancy) Gouker, Clyde (Eunice) Gouker, and Emmett "Herby" Gouker,  sons-in-law, Terry Semion and Robert Maksin,  and her companion, Richard Davis.  Friends are welcome Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 3-7 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
