Leonard Joseph Lukowski

Leonard Joseph Lukowski, 87, of Elizabeth Township, died Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was born August 29, 1930 in Uniontown and was the son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Kania) Lukowski. Leonard was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was retired from Don's Appliance and was a life member of the Greenock Volunteer Fire Co. He is survived by his wife of  62 years, Jean (Mains) Lukowski, daughter, Cheryl A. Bowers of Elizabeth Township, son, Mark (Dawn) Lukowski of Minerva, OH, grandchildren, Michael Edward (Casey) Bowers, Jennifer (Joe) Setting, and Calee and Luke Lukowski,  great-grandchildren, Alana Setting and Bo Bowers, sister, Mary Long of Carlisle, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Cecelia Wooddell and Theresa Krebbs and brother, Matthew Lukowski. Visitation and service with Military Honors were held Sunday, June 10, 2018  in the chapel of Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
