Kenneth W. "Kenny" Datig

Kenneth W. "Kenny" Datig, 63, of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Versailles, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at home.  Kenny was born December 10, 1954 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Gilbert William and Waneta Frances Datig.  He was retired from The Maryland State Department of Transportation where he worked in maintenance and the paint department. Kenny loved cooking, camping and his cat. He enjoyed collecting antiques and figurine cars. He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Edward) Gaussa of Upper St. Clair, his 2 grandsons who he loved so much, Logan and Aidan Gaussa, sisters, Victoria (Paul) Runtich of Adara, Francie (Kurt) Sedlock of Greenock, and Marcia (Peter) Astin of Unity Twp., brother, Gilbert (Reta) of Norfolk, VA, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved cat, Precious. Friends are welcome on Thursday, July 19, 2018, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
