Keith Alvin Markle,  60, of Crafton, formerly of West Newton, died  Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at home. He was born August 6, 1957 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Alvin "Creamy" and Elinor Smith Markle. Keith worked for Midwest Transport and had formerly worked for Schneider Trucking Co. and Walmart Trucking. Keith was an outstanding Little League and Pony League baseball player in West Newton. He was in the last class to graduate West Newton High School in 1976. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He is survived by sisters, Sandi (Joe) Hawthorne of Buena Vista, and Debra (Don) Furar of Goodyear, AZ, brothers, Kevin Markle and Dennis (Jeanette) Markle of West Newton, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth J. Markle who died April 15, 2017. Friends are welcome Friday, October 13 from 4-6:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director.  Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 6:00 pm. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Pittsburgh at 412-208-3550. Condolences may be made at gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
