June Lowry

June Lowry, 82, of Versailles, died  Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was born March 4, 1935 in Connellsville and was the daughter of the late Percy O. Harshman  and Margaret I. Showman Harshman. She was the wife of the late James M. Lowry. June was a member of Life Span, Silver Sneakers, AARP and the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. She is survived by her daughters, Terri F. (Greg) Hertzler of Indian Lake, Donna F. (Donald) Hunphries of Woodruff, SC, and Cathy F. (David) Johnson of Pleasant Hills, sister, Gail Wall of Versailles, grandchildren, Shawn Sydeski, Brianna Humphries, David G. Johnson and Chad Humphries, great-granddaughter, Maci Johnson, cousin, Harriet Douglass,  nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan F. Mitchell, sister, Peg Obley and brothers, Charles and Robert Harshman. Friends are welcome Monday, February 5 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
