Joseph Albert Matyasovsky Sr.

Joseph Albert Matyasovsky, Sr. 76, of Elizabeth Township, died Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born June 27, 1941 in Steubenville, OH., and was the son of the late August and Margaret (Zykowski) Matyasovsky. Joseph retired from General Motors Fisher Body Plant and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Marsha E. (Sanner) Matyasovsky, sons, Joseph A. (Jennifer O'Leary) Matyasovsky, Jr., and James Thomas (Lauren) Matyasovsky of Mount Vernon, grandchildren, Ivan, Nadia, Miles, and Lucas Matyasovsky, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Jobes and Joann Haberjack. Private service took place Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the chapel of Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
