John E. Hosni

John E. Hosni, 78, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born June 1, 1943 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John and Frances (Vodopivec) Hosni. John graduated from California State Teachers College with a BS degree and Penn State University and California State with a Masters in Education degree. He taught Math and Algebra at the Linton Middle School in the Penn Hills School District for 32 years and had a tax business for over 50 years. He also worked for the former Keystone Auto Parts Store in McKeesport since he was a teenager. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events. He is survived by his wife, LaVaughn "Vonnie" (Lees) Hosni, children, Kristin (Craig) Caputo and Michael (Trisha) Hosni, grandchildren, Jordyn, Justin, Michael, Jr., and Ashley, brothers, Ed (Lucy) Hosni, Donald Hosni and Bill (Nancy) Hosni, sister-in-law, Terri (Bill) Toth, nieces, nephews and his granddog, Maddie.
