Johanne G. Ranchik

Johanne G. Ranchik, 88, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025. She was born May 25, 1936 and raised in Perryopolis, she was the daughter of the late Anna Timko (the late Steve) Wysocki and raised by her grandparents, the late John and Anna Timko. She wife of the late James Robert Ranchik, who passed away August 10, 2017. Johanne was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish and attended the St. Michael Church and was also a member of the Elizabeth Twp. Seniors. She was an avid reader and loved to read Western Romances. She was an avid bird watcher and loved her hummingbirds, cardinals and other birds who visited her. She loved going out for tacos and margaritas. Johanne was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by daughter, Marcia Ranchik; son, Mark (Joni) Ranchik; grandchildren, Kevin Baumgartner, Alex (Erica) Bonelli and Andy (Kim) Bonelli; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Evan and Bennett Bonelli and Shae and Sloane Bonelli; sister, Beverly Madden; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, mother and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marianne Swanson. There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts. Joachim and Anne- St. Michael Worship Site on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 10:00 am with The Rev. Miroslaus A. Wojcicki, celebrant. (Everyone please meet at church).
