Harry Steven Beckowitz, 86, of Lincoln Borough, passed away, Friday, May 1, 2020. He was born August 14, 1933 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Steven and Ann (Vodhanel) Beckowitz. Harry attended the Boston United Methodist Church, New Hope assembly, and Fellowship Alliance. He was proprietor of the former Harry's Place in Elizabeth Township and was previously a Draftsman. He was a US Army Veteran , a former Boy Scout Leader and a former volunteer fireman in Lincoln Borough. He was a graduate of Penn State University. He survived by his wife of 53 years, Natica Belle (Carter) Beckowitz, son, Michael Shawn Beckowitz of White Oak, grandsons, Gunnar Steven and Sawyer Michael Beckowitz, sisters, Mary Ann (Norman) Fetterer of Finleyville and Laurel Jo Beckowitz of Duquesne. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Robert Beckowitz who passed away in 1981. Private family visitation and service with Military Honors will be held in the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
