George Anthony Konchak

After a couragous battle with leukemia, George Anthony Konchak, 69, of Elizabeth Township, died Tuesday May 30, 2017 in McKeesport Hospital with his family by his side. He was born July 26, 1947 in Braddock and was the son of the late George A. and Wanda Ostrowski Konchak. He was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township and was a retired Financial Analysis for Westinghouse. George served in the Air Force National Guard from 1967 to 1977.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, caregiver and best friend, Mary Louise Cabon Konchak, daughter, Tina Marie (Eric) Davis of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Magdaline and Nora Davis, brother, John Konchak of North Braddock, sister, Patricia Kranack of Munhall, brother-in-law, Robert(Laura) Cabon, sister-in-law Dolores (Donald) Campbell, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael Kranack. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday June 2 at St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township. The Rev. Thomas Wagner, officiated.
