Evelyn Gloria Miller

Evelyn Gloria Miller, 87, of Buena Vista, passed away Thursday, December  27, 2018. She was born May 25, 1931 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late  Steven and Mary (Toth) Martonyak.  She was the wife of the late Ralph A. Miller, who passed away November 7, 2014. They were married for 63 years. Evelyn was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport. She loved to cook and bake and was a great 10 pin bowler. She was an avid card player, enjoying poker and pinochle. She also enjoyed Bingo and Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (George) Pack of Sutersville, grandchildren, Kirsten (finance, Kyle Ebert) Pack and Ross Pack, sister, Dolores Gurowski of White Oak, sister-in-law, Janet Woodward of White Oak, brother-in-law, James Snyder of White Oak and special nephew, Jeffrey Sweitzer of White Oak, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve and Bernard Martonyak. Friends are welcome Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.  Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on  Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:00 am with the Rev. Gregory Madeya, officiating.
