Elaine Jean Coulter

Elaine Jean Coulter, 82, of McKeesport passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born in Clairton on March 30, 1942 to the late Salvatore "Sam" Scappellato and the late Helen (Pasquerell) Kramer. Elaine loved cross-word puzzles, and going to bingo multiple days a week. She is survived by her children, Deanna Coulter of McKeesport, Joyce Coulter of Glassport, Robert (John Ladner) Coulter of Jefferson Hills, and Sherry Vargo of North Huntingdon; her sister, Lois Bernardi of Pleasant Hills; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Judith Kramer, and Lola O'Dea. Friends are welcome Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10am - 1pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director.
