Edwin Clare Bandy, 94, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2018. He was born October 3, 1923 in West Virginia, and was the son of the late Everett and Beatrice Yost Bandy. He graduated from Trafford High School and was a US Army Veteran. Edwin had a wonderful family. He loved life, his family, and enjoyed family events and traveling. He also had a love for animals. For many years, Edwin was employed by the former Allegheny Bindery in Pittsburgh. He is survived by two daughters, Janice (William) Hohn of Cranberry Twp., and Vicky (Jim) Salak of South Carolina; granddaughter, Jacquelyn Hobbs, grandson, Scott Salvatore and one brother, Carl Leroy Bandy. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Michael Morningstar. There is no public visitation. A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Private Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, at a later date.
