David W. Horvatin, Sr.

David William Horvatin, Sr., 68, of Dravosburg, died Wednesday June 7, 2017. He was born May 13, 1949 in El Monte, CA, and was the son of the late William George and Goldie Barlow Horvatin. David was retired from the Maintance Dept. of the McKeesport Area School District and was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Karol L. Fawcett Horvatin, son, David W. (Jennifer) Horvatin, Jr., of Lakeland, FL, daughter, Karrie I. Horvatin of Dravosburg, sisters, Deanna (Mel) Forsythe of Delmont and Rita Rontondo of Murrell Inlet, SC, brothers, Wayne Horvatin of Dravosburg and Ronald Horvatin of Texas, grandchildren, Breeana Horvatin and Braydon Horvatin, nieces, nephews, and his grand-dog, Daisy. There is no visitation. Private graveside service with Military Honors will be held in the Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg. The Rev. Dorothy McDormand will be officiating.
