Cynthia Marie Kern

Cynthia Marie (Fink) Kern, 66, of Munhall, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at home. She was born June 5, 1957, in Homestead and was the daughter of Dorothy M. (Anderson) Fink of Munhall and the late Edward Gene Fink who passed away October 6, 2018. Cynthia was the Director of Clinical Research in the Office of Research Conduct and Compliance at the University of Pittsburgh, Oakland. She enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, traveling, and most of all-spending time with loved ones. Cindy was wild like a flower and warm like the sun. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Kern of Myrtle Beach, SC, Stacey Kern of Munhall, Sarah Kern and Sam Kern of Seattle, WA, brothers, Edward (JoAnne) Fink of Munhall, Thomas (Colleen) Fink of Pittsburgh, and Barry Fink of Lincoln Borough, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
