Cindy Lou Platania

Cindy Lou Platania 57, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born August 6, 1960 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Patricia Louise (Zeiler) Korieth. Cindy was a member of Merritt Primitive Methodist Church in Buena Vista. She was Paralegal and a graduate of Point Park University. She is survived by her daughters, Desiree (Todd) Corbett of North Versailles and Erica Thorniley of North Huntingdon, sons, Eric Lee Bowles and Joseph John Platania of Elizabeth Township, brother, Richard (Leslie) Korieth and niece, Miranda Korieth of Buena Vista, grandchildren, Ronnie, Breana, Brody, Conner, and Eric Jr., and a great-grandson, Tristan. Memorial service will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 11:30 am at  Merritt Primitive Methodist Church, 200 Fowles Street, Buena Vista.  The Rev. Paul Walter, will be officiating . Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Merritt Primitive Methodist Church.
