Carolyn L. Brown, 80, of Elizabeth Township passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. She was born at home in Elizabeth on October 29, 1944 to her birth mom, the late Sarah Jane (McSurdy) Fellabaum, and her parents, the late George and Ida Fellabaum. Carrie worked 10+ years as the custodian for EF's Central Elementary before retiring in 2013. She was the most caring, loving, self-less woman anyone could have known. She was the true foundation of the family, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved birds and all animals and she would always pray for Veterans and those gone before her. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph P. Brown, who said - "I knew from day 1 she was going to be my wife." As well as her two children, who in turn, their spouses became her children as well; Jo-ann (Frank) Belmares of Elizabeth Township, and Aaron (Susan) Brown of Elizabeth Township. Her adored grandchildren, Rhiannon, Ryan, Hayden, and Ross; and also her wonderful great-granddaughter, Jane; her siblings, James "Jim Fellabaum, Robert "Bob" (Janet) Fellabaum, and Joyce Fellabaum, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carrie is preceded in death by her brothers, George "Tony" Fellabaum, and Julius, Jan "Davey," and Frankie Kenski. There is no visitation.
