Barbara Mildred Di Fabio, 87, of Verona, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023. She was born May 5, 1936 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John A. and Mildred Iola (Monath) Ryan. She was the wife of the late of Paul Robert Di Fabio who passed away June 18, 2022. They were married for 56 years. Barbara was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, White Oak. She was a 1954 graduate of McKeesport High School and had worked for the former McKeesport National Bank. She is survived by her daughters, Marci (Vincent) Matthews of Sutersville and Trudi (Fiancee, Dan Bryan) Di Fabio of Irwin, grandson, Vincent Paul Matthews, great-granddaughter, Avery Taylor Matthews and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy (Rudy) Schaffer and Joanne (Paul) Tellman and a brother, John "Jack" Ryan. Friends are welcome Sunday November 26, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 672-6322 Drew J.
