Andrew F. Brewer, 37, of Donora, died Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was born November 3, 1980 in Monongahela. Andrew was a retired USMC Lance Corporal. For his service he received the Presidential Unit Citation Navy, Combat Action Ribbon (Afghanistan), Combat Action (Iraq), Navy Unit Commendation (2), Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (3), NATO Medal ISAF Afghanistan, Meritorious Mast, and the Marksman Rifle Qualification and Pistol Qualification Badges. Andrew participated in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and Operation Iraq Freedom in Iraq. He is survived by his son, Asher V. Brewer and mother, Joanie M. (Wisneski) Sestili of Donora, father, David L. (Glenda) Brewer of Belle Vernon, brothers, William (Christina) Brewer and Jason Brewer of Donora and Brandon Sestili of Latrobe, stepbrother, Joel (Candace) Sargent of Phelam, Al, and grandmothers, Mary Lou Kalakewich of Belle Vernon and Rose Sestili of Cokeburg, a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Knittel) Brewer, and grandparents, Leo and Dorothy Wisneski, William L. Brewer and James Sestili Sr., and stepfather, James Sestili, Jr. There is no visitation. Service with Military Honors will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow there.
