Michael S. Pope

Michael Stephen Pope, 57, of Liberty Borough, died Tuesday February 28, 2017 at home. He was born December 2, 1959 in McKeesport and was the son of Ronald Russell Pope and Mary Ann Benish Pope of Liberty Borough. Michael was a member of St. Mark Parish - Liberty Borough and was a graduate of the Mon Valley School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Debra (Jim) Stripsky and Cheri (Stephen) Tedrick of McKeesport, nieces, Brenda, Joyce and Lauren Tedrick, and nephews, Alex and Erik Stripsky and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Private visitation and funeral service took place Friday March 3 in the chapel of the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
