Edward Henry Jackowski

Edward Henry "Polish Ed" Jackowski, 85, of McKeesport, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was born May 6, 1931 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John and Rosalie Stroka Jackowski. He was husband of 56 years to the late Doris M. Rugg Jackowski, who died in 2008. Ed was a machinist at US Steel and Copperweld and was a member of The Eleventh Ward Welfare Association. He is survived by 6 sons, Robert "Bob" (Anna) Jackowski of Glassport, Michael (Robin) Jackowski of Gettysburg, Ronald "Cecil", William, Randy and Dennis Jackowski all of McKeesport, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, Florence (Gerald) Bentley of Elizabeth Twp., nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by son, Edward Jackowski and daughter, Kimberly Jackowski. There is no visitation and private burial will take place at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, at a later date.
