Katherine E. Kreiling

Katherine E. Kreiling, 92, of Greensburg, formerly of Boston, died Saturday January 7, 2017. She was born July 19, 1924 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Katherine Ditter Kreiling. After her mother passed away, she and her sister Evelyn were raised by the late Albert and Angela Thomas. Katherine served in the Korean War in the Army Nurse Corps. She had also worked in hospitals in Norfolk, VA, St. Petersburg, FL, and the VA Hospital in Aspinwall. She was a graduate of the Braddock General Hospital School of Nursing. Katherine was a member of the Corpus Christi Parish, McKeesport. She loved cats and doing things for others. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Shaw of New Stanton, and Gertrude Lieberum of McKeesport, nephews, John and Raymond Shaw of New Stanton, and additional nieces and nephews.
