Charles Michael "Chuck" Dougherty

Charles "Chuck" Michael Dougherty, 72, of Adamsburg, formerly of McKeesport, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at home. He was born July 4, 1944 in Greensburg and was the son of the late Charles Henry and Lillian Mench Dougherty. Chuck was retired from the US Postal Service and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his sister, Toni Carnahan of New Market, MD, nephew, Scott J. (Lisa) Carnahan and a niece, Lisa J. (Ken Kumar) Carnahan. There is no visitation. Service with Military Honors will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
