Viola Wanda Greenawald

Viola Wanda Greenawald, 91, of Elizabeth Township, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at home. She was born May 11, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Socha Steffan. She was the wife of the late Theodore F. "Ted" Greenawald who died June 18, 2006. Viola and Ted were foster parents to 9 children. She was a member of St. Michael Parish, Elizabeth Township and was a China Artist for the former Sabin China in Versailles. She is survived by her son, Kenneth J. Greenawald of San Diego, CA, and daughter, Donna Greenawald of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary F. Smith, brothers, Frank (Adena), Tony, and Edward (Mary Ann) Steffan and a sister, Helen Skotnicki.
