Martha K. Rankin

Martha K. Rankin, 91, of Asbury Villas, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was born June 21, 1924 in Dravosburg and was the daughter of the late William N. and Lois Rogerson King. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Rankin. Martha was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star Chapter 316. She was a graduate of Temple University and was a retired Dental Hygienist for the Allegheny County Health Department. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Rankin (Robert) Watson of Youngstown, OH, and Ruth Ann Modic of Forest Hills, sister, Margaret Ford of Florida, and a niece and nephews. Friends are welcome Friday, March 18 from 2-5 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 18, at 5 pm with The Rev. William K. Little, officiating. Private burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.
