Raymond Wesley Holsing of Elizabeth Township, died Thursday, January 14, 2016. He was born in Boston and was the son of the late James and Ada Bramhall Holsing. Raymond was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the South Pacific Theatre and was a fifty year member of Local # 27 Plumbers Union. He was also a Licensed Stock Broker and Real Estate Agent and was a member of the Mon Yough Board of Realtors. He was past-president of the Boston-Greenock Lions Club and was an avid fisherman and Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carole Cornell Holsing, sons, Raymond Holsing, Rodger Holsing and Robert Holsing, grandkids, Kristen, Mark, Andrew, Laura, Emily, Ashley, Zachary, Samantha, and Jessica, step-sons, Scott and Shawn Gronlund, step-great-grandkids, Owen and Gwendolyn, and special daughter, Michelle Merten. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Holsing, and sisters, Vera Graham and Dorothy Gardner. Honoring Ray's request, there was no visitation. Private funeral service followed by Military Honors and interment was in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. The Rev. Erin Evans officiated.
