Edgar C. Boyd

Edgar Clare Boyd, 81, of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at home. He was born October 4, 1934 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Clare and Florence Woods Boyd. He was a retired Energy Consultant for the Dollar Energy Fund and was proprietor of the former Boyd's Exterminating Co. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marlene Mary Koval Boyd, daughters, Deborah L. (Chuck) Campbell of West Newton and Rebecca L. Cook of Fair Port, NY, grandchildren, Bart B., and Eddie Hambright, Michael E. Boyd and Dylan Boyd-Dower, and Chris and Joshua Cook, great-grandchildren, Jasalyn A., Charlie A., and Jason D. Hambright, and Evan and Ava Cook. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Boyd and grandson, Jason A. Hambright. Friends are welcome Saturday, January 9 from 3-5 pm. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
