Darlene "Peach" E. Woods

Darlene E. "Peach" Woods, 82, of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born May 27, 1933 in Greenock and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Edna Eberts Dick. She was wife of the late Robert R. Woods who died April 2, 1997. Darlene was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock. She is survived by her daughters, Sherrie (John) Lukacena of North Huntingdon, and Sheila Woods of Greenock, sister, LaVauda Peterson of Elizabeth Township, a niece, Sandy (Jon) Shank, nephews, Jeffrey and Douglas Peterson, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Delroy Dick. Friends are welcome Sunday December 27 from 12-2 pm, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday December 27, at 2 pm, with The Rev. Erin Evans, officiating. Private inurnment will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
