JoAnn Marie Wennerstrom

JoAnn Marie Wennerstrom, 61, of White Oak, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born September 27, 1954 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Elmer "Bud" Otto and Margaret "Peg" Marie Farrington Goreck. JoAnn worked for Kane Regional Nursing Center as a Nurse's Aid for 27 years and also worked in housekeeping in her time there. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Chipper) Filotei of McKeesport, grandson, Jayson Tuttle of McKeesport, step-daughters, Kimberly Boyd of Orlando, Fl, , Denise Boyd of Jacksonville, TN, step-sons, Michael (Renee) Boyd of Norfolk, VA, William (Geniva) Boyd of Knoxville TN, Dennis (Kristin) of Tampa, Fl, step-grandchildren, Justin and Amber Panico, Jerrie Boyd, Jennifer Pomponio, Frances Boyd, Kiersten Newman, Garrett Boyd, Julia, Angel, and Huck Boyd, Alexandra, Jacob, and Dennis (DJ) Boyd, step-great-grandchildren, Daisy Potter, Katelyn Krista, Sandra and Raymond McCarson, Rex and Troy Newnam, brothers, Earl (Karen) Goreck of Port Vue, and Elmer Goreck of Tionesta, Nieces, Nephews, Friend, Johnny Ray Fetherman and her dog, Gracie. JoAnn was preceded in death by Nephew, Elmer Goreck, Sisters-in-law, Karen Yonek and Shirley Delmer and her loving friend, Sandra Boyd. As per JoAnn's request there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
