Patricia S. Remick

Patricia S. Remick, 85, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 17, 2015. She was born March 6, 1930 in Homestead and was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary Blanche Shannahan Needham. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, and the Corpus Christi Seniors, Ladies Guild and Christian Mothers. She was previously a member of the former St. Pius V Catholic Church. Patricia was a homemaker who loved to cook for family and friends and enjoyed Bingo. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Mark G. Remick, son, Mark Alan (Kathryn) Remick of Washington, NC, daughter, Susan Marie Remick of Elizabeth Twp., grandchildren, Samuel and Thomas Remick, Scott Jernigan, and Wade and Nicole Ancarana, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Firestone, brothers, John and Michael Needham and grandson, David Remick. Friends are welcome Saturday, September 19 from 6-8:00 PM and Sunday September 20 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Monday, September 21, at 10:00 AM with The Rev. Michael Maranowski, officiating.
