Vaora "Vay" Abels

Vaora "Vay" Abels, 85, of McKeesport, died Sunday, August 30, 2015. She was born August 3, 1930 in Dravosburg and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Estelle Johnson Abels. She is survived by her son, William E. (Christine) Abels of Myrtle Beach, SC, and grandchildren, William R. Abels, Rodney T. Abels and Rachael E. Abels, great-grandchildren, Jacob and Brittany, niece, Lori Parker of South Park, and other nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her companion of 27 years, William Fiore. At Vay's request there is no visitation or service. Private inurnment will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum, Elizabeth Twp. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
