Arthur A. Swartz

Arthur A. "Art" Swartz, 83, of Elizabeth Twp, died Monday, August 3, 2015. He was born March 18, 1932 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Arthur A. Swartz, Sr. and the late Melva G. Karnes Swartz. Art was proprietor of several area businesses over the years and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member and past-president of the Elizabeth Rotary Club, and was also a Mason. Later in life, Art became an avid photographer of wildlife. He is survived by his daughter and caregiver, Debra J. London of White Oak, daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Daily of Louisville, OH, and Karen Spurgeon of Coral Springs, FL, grandchildren, Lauren Oberlin, Jason London, Kimberly Rhoades, Aimee London, also a caregiver, and Luke and Liam Jennings, and great grandchildren, Natalie and Cameron Oberlin. He was special to Dorree and many others who knew him. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elizabeth Rotary Club c/o Mary Walos at 209 Dennis Street, Elizabeth PA 15037.
