Earl Malcolm Zwibel

Earl Malcolm Zwibel, 87, of Elizabeth Twp, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at home. He was born August 19, 1927 in McKeesport. He was the husband of the late Charlotte Esther Moritz Zwibel who died June 19, 2015. They were married for 62 years. Earl retied from the City of McKeesport and was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII and the Korean War. He is survived by sons, Neil Scott Zwibel and Bruce Leigh Zwibel of Elizabeth Twp., brother, Allan Zwibel of St. Petersburg, FL, daughter-in-law, Ellen Zwibel (Michael) McDougall of Michigan, grandchildren, Jessica Zwibel, Chani (Evan) Butler, and Autumn Roze Zwibel, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Martin Eric Zwibel who died August 3, 1996. Friends are welcome Friday, July 31 from 10:00 AM. to 1:00 PM., at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 31, at 1:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Salem Cemetery, Rostraver Twp.
