Thomas "Red" Robert Sproul

Thomas Robert "Red" Sproul, 78, of Whitaker, died Wednesday July 15 at home. He was born October 14, 1936 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Clarence and Grace Haywood Sproul. He retired from Clear View Mirror and Glass Company after 45 years of service. Red was a member of the Elizabeth Township Ex-Serviceman's Association. He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patty" Baird Sproul, sons, Robert (Jan) Sproul and Donald (Lynda) Sproul of Windsor, VA, step-son, Edmund (Marriane) Ross of North Huntingdon, step-daughters, Diana (Rudy) Barbisch of Claysville, Kimberly (Dave) Connor of Bethel Park, and Tracy (Dave) Gill of Whitaker, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Sproul and step-son, Michael Ross. Friends are welcome Saturday July 18 from 1-5:00 PM, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday July 18 at 5:00 PM, officiated by Lisa Naylor, Minister.
