Kay E. Byers

Kay E. Byers, 70, of North Huntingdon, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at home. She was born October 24, 1944 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Pauline Gaffney Sterner. Kay attended First Evangelical Free Church, McKeesport. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Darrell L. Byers, daughters, Lori J. (Bill) Salitrik of Connellsville, and Dana L. (Sam) Lewis of North Huntingdon, son, Darrell J. (Tammi) Byers of Waynesburg, sisters, Joan Steele of McKeesport and Donna Peat of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Haley (Jason) Champagne, Danica and Chelsey Byers, Madison Walters and Mason Lewis, brother-in-law, Donald (Janet) Byers and sister-in-law, Kathy Byers, nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Saturday, June 27 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
