Erma Jean Barno

Erma Jean Barno, 80, of Boston, died Sunday, May 17, 2015. She was born February 6, 1935 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Smock Webb. She was the wife of the late George Barno, Jr., who died in 1991. She is survived by daughters, Joy (Harry) Ketter of Mesquite, TX, Anita (Mark) Kapsha of Liberty, and Mary (Frank) Wargo of Glassport, son, John (Susan) Barno of McKeesport, 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, George Barno, III., who died January 20, 2008. Friends are welcome Tuesday May 19 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 PM, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday May 20 at 10:00 AM, with The Rev. Donald Voss, officiating. Interment will follow in the West Newton Cemetery.
