Helen C. Parillo

Helen C. Pirillo, 82, of Sewickley Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born January 23, 1933 in Liberty Borough and was the daughter of the late Frank and Nicolina Yanni Caruso. She was beloved wife of the late Samuel S. Pirillo. She was the loving mother of Gary (Darla) Pirillo of Sewickley Twp., and cherished grandmother of Jenna (Dale) Hutchinson, and Justin (Fiancée, Gianna Lawrenzi) Pirillo, and beloved sister of Esther Kienzl of Brodheadsville. Also survived by a niece, nephews, great-nephews, a great-niece, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Caruso, and sister, Jane Smith. Helen was a member of St. Edward Parish, Herminie and retired from Morrell, Butz, and Junker, Inc., in 2006. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School. Friends are welcome Wednesday, May 6 from 2-4 and 6-9:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward Parish on Thursday, May 7, at 10:00 AM with The Rev. John Harrold, officiating.
