Elvira Williams, 91, of Forward Twp., died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1923 in West Aliquippa and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Pauline DiFrancesco. She was wife of the late Glenn Williams who died December 17, 2000. Elvira was a longtime member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth where she served many years as a Deacon. She was retired from the Allegheny County Department of Community Services. Elvira was an avid Steeler fan. She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah (Michael) Ondrish of Forward Twp., brother, Joseph DiFrancesco of New Eagle, sisters, Thelma Bartolini and Rose Sakas of New Eagle and Norma (Steve) Milas of South Park, grandchildren, Jared (Tamara) Barker, Erin Ondrish, and Michael (Elaine) Ondrish, great-grandchildren, Julian and Kendall Barker, sister-in-law, Linda DiFrancesco of New Eagle, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda (Kenneth) Barker and brother, Arthur DiFrancesco. There is no visitation. Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 28 at 11:00 AM in the Bethesda United Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Walter F. Pietschmann, officiating. Private burial will be in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda United Presbyterian Church, 314 South Third Avenue, Elizabeth, PA 15037 or the Washington Area Humane Society at 724-222-7387.
