Dennis G. "Dennie" McCorkle, 67, of Elizabeth Twp., died Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born March 7, 1947 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Norman and Betty King McCorkle. Dennie was a chemist for Eastman Chemical Resins, Inc. He served as a Radio Operator aboard the USS Blandy (DD-943) during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gasda McCorkle, son, Daniel (Kristie) Markovich Jr. of White Oak, daughters, Jessica (Mike) Gesmond of Herminie, and Jeanette Kustra of McKeesport, sister, Sharon (Wilson "Skip") Lucas of Elizabeth Twp., granddaughters, "Pappy's Angels", McKayla Gesmond and Bree Pisarcik, grandsons, Johnny Gesmond, Alexander Meyer, Kaden and Mikey Pisarcik, and Danny Markovich, III. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol McCorkle. Friends are welcome Thursday, March 5 from 2-4:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
