Eleanora J. Hamill

Eleanora J. Hamill, 89, of Elizabeth Twp., died Sunday, February 22, 2015. She was born October 5, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late William and Stella Milkowski Furst. She was the wife of the late Edmund Joseph Hamill who died February 15, 2007. Eleanora was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp, and was a retired Operating Room Nursing Supervisor at UPMC-McKeesport Hospital. She was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing and had previously worked for St. Francis Hospital and Eye and Ear Hospital. She is survived by her cousins, Virginia Kapisak of Elizabeth Twp., Paul (Carol) Straker of West Mifflin, and Theresa (Larry) Piekut of Elizabeth, niece, Cindy Furst and nephew, Bill Furst of Greenock, and sister-in-law, Mildred Furst of Greenock. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Furst, Jr. Friends are welcome Tuesday, February 24 from 6-8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday February 25 at the St. Michael Parish with The Rev.
