Jean C. Dady, 90, of Elizabeth Twp., died Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was born January 22, 1925 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Albert and Natalie Grossett Smith. She was the wife of the late Lagora F. Dady. Jean was member of the former Frank Baptist Church, McKeesport Elks # 136 and was past president of the Elkettes and also a member of the Elks Bowling League. She was also a member of the Versailles Croation Club, the Pastels Bowling League, and the former Elizabeth Business Women's Bowling League. Jean was proprietor of the former Jean's Restaurant in Mount Oliver and had also worked for Stratigos Catering, EF Middle School and River City Junction. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Jean (Ivan) Trimpey of Port Vue and Peggy (Timothy) Nolfi of Dawson, sister, Shirley Paskan of Sutersville, grandsons, Keith (Carrie) Trimpey and Kenneth (Frances) Trimpey, great-grandchildren, Corey, Kevin, Kenneth, Jaclyn, and Kayci Trimpey, great-great-grandson, Henrik Trimpey, brother-in-law, Richard Dady of Eighty Four, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Hitt and brothers, Robert and William Smith. Friends are welcome Friday, February 6 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 7, at 11:00 AM with The Rev. Thomas Funk and The Rev. Jody Dausey, officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
